Dakar Institute of Technology (DIT), founded in 2019 in Dakar, Senegal, is West Africa’s first specialized institute dedicated to Big Data and Artificial Intelligence education, recognized by the Senegalese Ministry of Higher Education and vocational training authorities. DIT maintains a boutique-sized community that ensures personalized, immersive learning.

DIT’s curriculum emphasizes a learn-by-doing pedagogy, offering hands-on programmes with tracks in Data Science, Data Engineer, and Data Analyst, as well as industry-certified short courses in Python, full-stack web development, and data management. International outreach is a core strength: since 2022, DIT has partnered with EPITA, ESIEA, ESTIA (France), Gaziosmanpaşa University (Turkey), Nanjing University of Science & Technology (China), and Alma College (USA), providing exchange semesters, double degrees, and global immersion opportunities.
